Home Sweet Home

As of this week, we have lived in our new home for 1 YEAR!! It took a while for this place to feel like "home" but now, I can't imagine living any place else! I must admit that I do miss cleaning my ONE STORY house, but I can't complain about that-because I wound sound like an ungrateful B****!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our new home! I feel like a Princess! We have truly been blessed! Thanks to the horrible economy, we got a FANTASTIC deal on a BEAUTIFUL house (that we normally could not afford!!!)We are VERY happy in our new home and we look forward to creating new memories, in the years to come!

I had a difficult time moving, which I was NOT expecting! I was getting my DREAM house...why should I feel sad?? Well, this was our very FIRST house, (we bought it just before we married), we had both boys while living here, my Mother had window treatments made in the family room for my birthday, Braden spent 2 weeks putting the playset together (which the boys LOVED), we had good neighbors, etc... I can remember driving by and thinking "those people are living in OUR home". I will forever treasure the precious memories we created there!
Our First Home June 2004 - August 2008

I do hope they are enjoying the window treatments and the playset!

**Of course, none if this would be possible without my sweet, loving, dedicated, and hard working husband! Thank you Braden, for making all my dreams come true! I appreciate for all you do for us! I love you! **

Kelsey's First Day of Middle School

Today was Kelsey's first day of Middle School!! Growing up, my Dad always took a picture of us in front of the fridge...I don't know why but every year we took our pictures there. Well, I have continued that tradition with Kelsey, so here she is in front of our fridge!
It looks like Chloe is saying Goodbye but she is saying FEED ME!

She's off and on her way!!! It was also Kelsey's first day to ride the bus! Thank goodness riding the bus is "IN" because it makes my life much easier!

I love you, Kelsey!! I hope your first day is FANTASTIC!

A Great Time with Grandparents

We were blessed to have Grandma and Grandpa (Braden's parents) come from Arizona for a visit. We had so much fun playing puzzles that Grandma brought and going out for yummy ice cream. There were so many special moments I wanted to capture with the camera, but below is the ONE and ONLY picture, from their 3 night stay.

We love you Grandma and Grandpa! Thanks for coming to see us...please come again soon and I promise to take more pictures!

Middle School...SERIOUSLY!?!?!

Today we attended orientation for Middle School. I cannot believe Kelsey is going to be in 6th grade! WOW! I wish I was more advanced in my blogging skills, so I could post a picture of her starting Kindergarden. Time is FLYING by so quickly! Here is a picture of Kelsey at her LOCKER!!

I love you LOTS, Kelsey Lyn!

I forgot to mention how many of the girls surrounding her, had their lockers fully decorated! Apparently, it's really cool to "pimp" the inside of your locker with jewels, Zebra wrapping paper, etc... We suddenly looked/felt VERY "uncool"! No doubt, we will be shopping for locker "BLING" before school starts! Sorry Kelsey...I wish I had thought to be that creative!

Destin, FL 2009

Every year my parents rent a house in Destin, FL and treat us to an all expenses paid vacation! All 14 of us spend the week swimming in the pool, making sand castles, and splashing in the ocean! We also have an annual photo session in our white shirts and khaki shorts. Below are some of my favorite pictures from our FUN FILLED trip!!!

This is one of my favorite pictures! I love my family!

THANK YOU, Mom and Dad!!! We had a WONDERFUL week!

Double Trouble

Braden and I were both busy packing for a trip, when we noticed the house was QUIET!!! I don't know how your house is?? But at our house, if it's quiet...that means T R O U B L E!! Braden began calling the boys names but unfortunately, there was NO RESPONSE! Braden ran upstairs to see what the silence was about and this is what he found...
Will and Trent had found pink and red nail polish in Kelsey's room and decided to paint their toes! As you can see, Trent also painted his face! God Bless America!!

Now Reporting...

In efforts to keep up with many of my friends, I have joined the blog world. I thought the hard part was coming up with a creative title, but boy was I WRONG!!! This is going to be A LOT of work! I am finding it difficult to get started but I hope to figure this out very soon!
